Portland Jazz Pianist Jonathan Swanson will be performing with the talented Cassandra Hohn in a fantasy tribute called “Bathing in Bette”, that pays homage to Bette Midler’s early performances at the Continental Baths in New York in the 1970s. Conceived by Ms. Hohn, this show has performed to sold-out audiences in Upstate New York, Florida and New York City. Cassie’s extraordinary vocals and flair for comedy make her the perfect performer to pay tribute to Bette Midler.
Hohn, a former Oregonian has had the privilege of performing with Norah Jones, Nellie McKay and Tony Bennett. She has had great success in the New York City Cabaret Scene where she has been crowned “The Queen of Sass.” Ms. Hohn is a Member of MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabaret) and is excited to announce that Bathing in Bette will be making it’s international debut later this year when it travels to Sydney, Australia.
